The RULE

Campsite rule states “Leave the campsite better than when you found it”

The campsite is none other than the community we live in, and yes the life rule should be none other than that of the campsite! Leave your community better than how you found it, impact people’s lives positively, make the world a better place.

๐ŸŽถThere’s a place in your heart and I know that it is love and this place could be much brighter than tomorrow๐ŸŽถ Michael Jackson said it best! Heal the world make it a better place for you, for me and the entire human race.

I read somewhere that coming from a place of genuine love, one can never lose. There surely is love in our hearts and genuine love never loses, do you ever reflect on the people you met and how they impacted your life? I’m sure there are some people we even refrain from thinking about! But are you aware that there might be people who would also not want to think of you because of how you impacted their lives? In kinyarwanda they say «usize nkuru ki i musozi » what kind of story did you leave behind? Would people smile from the thought of you or would they loathe it ?

We have love in us, we should learn to give it out, we should always try to be a blessing to others. A good friend of mine told me something that hit to the core, he said that even if you don’t get to stay in someone’s life you should make sure you made a good impact, that you changed the person’s life for the better and that you were a blessing to them. That’s the rule, make sure you are a blessing to the people you meet, to the people in your life. Always strive to make their lives better and do it from a place of genuine love.

I wish that whenever people think about us they smile at the thought of us, and that they feel gratitude by the simple thought of us. For Christians this is more clear, “may people see Jesus in us”. Live by the rule and make the world a better place than you found it.
